The SAA Board Meeting List Generator is quite sophisticated in how it puts links to your Group/Intergroup website. To demonstate various ways to do it, we've created a short example Meeting List, which we'll explain in detail in this page. Click here to look at the entire Meeting List.

Ways to Place a Link

You can place a link to refer to a wide geographic region. The first listing in our example Meeting List covers an entire country! Albeit not very big one:

To create such an entry in the SAA Meeting List, register the Andora Intergroup in the Country of Andora, leaving the State and City blank. To get this example also leave the Meeting Day, Time, and Location blank, filling in the Group Name as "Andora Intergroup." All but one of the contact entries were left blank. Pick any one you like and put in just the website address, "www.saa.org.an" in this case.

Here's another example of a state-wide webpage:

This was created very much like the Andora link, except that both the country and state were filled in on the Website Information Form. In this next example, we've got a regular meeting that has its own website:

All one has to do to create this entry is add another "Contact" with the Website address, in this case www.saaFlag.org, to the Information Form.

We won't show you the last example here, but you can go back to the complete example. Notice that "Metro Phoenix Intergroup" is listed for three different cities, Mesa, Phoenix, and Scottsdale, all part of the Phoenix Metropolitan area. The Intergroup had to request that it be registered in all three cities, again with no Meeting Day, Time, or Location given. Of course this makes sense if the purpose is just to display a contact phone number and/or website address.
