How has the ISO helped you or your group?

How has the ISO helped you?

We all know that recovery is a personal journey, but it is also one that we walk together.

Why Should We Share?

Sharing your or your group’s success is a powerful way to inspire others and strengthen the fellowship as a whole.

Whether it’s taking action to welcome newcomers, presenting to non-SAA organizations, or sending an informational mailing to professionals… Or through a moment of clarity and grace during a meeting, a piece of literature resonated deeply, or you made a connection with another member, your experience can offer a light to someone else in need.

Furthermore, the ISO plays a pivotal role in providing resources, services, and structure that make it easier for meetings to thrive. From distributing literature to supporting local groups with guidance, outreach, and events, the ISO enables us to carry the message of recovery in ways that would be difficult to achieve on our own.

How Has the ISO Helped You?

  • Have the ISO's resources helped your group carry the message to more suffering sex addicts? Or has literature, webinars, or workshops, helped you or your group?
  • Has the availability of online meetings or other services expanded your ability to stay connected and engaged?
  • Do you find the structure and guidance from the ISO helpful in maintaining the integrity of your group’s meetings?

Your voice is a crucial part of how we continue to build this supportive, healing community. By sharing your personal experience—whether about how your meetings help you or how the ISO has impacted your recovery—you help us all.

How Can You Share?

  • Reflect on how the meetings help you carry the message of hope. What have you learned or received that has been transformative for you?
  • Consider how the ISO's efforts make it possible for you to continue your recovery work. Has something the ISO provides allowed your group to thrive or helped you personally?

By sharing these reflections, we ensure that the strength of our collective experience is passed on to others. Remember, no share is too small or too big. Every story matters, and each voice strengthens our bond.

Thank you for being a part of this community. Let’s continue to support each other and carry the message of recovery far and wide.

Optional but helpful:

Each of us comes to these meetings with our own experiences, struggles, and breakthroughs. It's through our shared stories that we learn, heal, and grow. But we also recognize that our success in recovery isn’t just individual—it's shaped by the environment and support systems we have in place, like our meetings and the greater structure of SAA, including the ISO.
