Dear Friends in Recovery:

Dear Friends in Recovery,

Thank you for your steadfast generosity and commitment to vital programs, including outreach to incarcerated addicts, which we highlighted in our previous letter. Your support helps provide life-changing access to SAA resources to incarcerated members and anyone seeking hope, connection, and a path toward a future free from addiction.

October Spotlight: New Database

As our fellowship grows, so does the need for information. Your donations made it possible to implement a new database that brings information, communications, and program tracking into one system. This means ISO staff can spend less time managing data and more time serving the fellowship.

The new system benefits the fellowship and allows the ISO to:

  • Strengthen relationships and communication by maintaining secure records of groups, intergroups, trusted servants, and other fellowship contacts to reach them more effectively.
  • Strengthen public information and professional outreach by maintaining better contact with therapists, counselors, faith leaders, and other professionals.
  • Provide deeper insight into the types of meetings available by criteria such as language, gender, topic, and geographic location, helping staff and the Board of Trustees make more informed decisions about priorities and resource allocation.
  • Update your meeting information online. Groups can now update their meeting information online! This will increase the accuracy and timeliness of meeting updates. Email the ISO office at info@saa-recovery.org for access to this new service.

The ultimate value of the new database is not simply better technology. It is the ISO’s ability to respond more effectively to fellowship needs, help local groups carry the message, support donors and volunteers who sustain ISO services, and expand access to recovery resources.

Your Support Makes This Possible

Please make a generous contribution to the 2026 Annual Appeal and help us reach our $20,000 goal. Your gift can change a life by opening the door to recovery.

With deepest appreciation,

Tracy R., Executive Director

International Service Organization of SAA, Inc.
